Traditional Kistka

The traditional kistka is a brass cone-shaped tool that is used to apply hot wax to an egg. The point of the cone is dipped into a pot of melted beeswax, and then the wax is applied to the egg in a continuous line. Once the wax has cooled, it will create a design on the eggshell. The kistka is an essential tool for creating traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs.
